With a small laptop the new bottom banner ads take up 1/3 of the screen and you can't get to the "close" button. The ads at WL.com have never bothered me but now I can't read the site very well.
And is it just me or is the top banner ad wider? It looks like it's blown the whole page off to the right.
My 2 cents.

I too use a laptop to view the site and the banners seem to be getting bad just as of late. Mike and Aaron I believe are working on it. The big one on the bottom, either John Deer or Dodge Trucks, make the fonts, size of the page and viewing of the site very difficult.

Its no worse then all the other bs adds I get on the computer. Lets face it though on Mike and Aarons behalf. Ads pay for the site to stay open too. Advertising is a great way to get your products out there. In one of the ads I saw a John Deere ATV. I went to their website to see more. Ads work ...In my opinion Id rather see a few ads on my favorite website then to possibly not have this website.

Like I said racfish, I dont' mind ads, the guys at WL.com need to pay for the site and I sincerely hope they are putting cash in their pocket too. But when the ads affect the readability of a website like these are doing- it's a bug.

The new ad has issues that we are aware of and we are working with the publisher to fix them... hopefully before the weekend.

Here's a thought, a couple other forums I subscribe to offer paid members the choice of no ads since they're supporting the forum/site through donation/s. Maybe this is something WL.com could offer premium members? Probably more work than it's worth, but like I said, just a thought.
