I'd been pursuing my nemesis for many years now, and finally the day came when he was in my sights. The beast put quite a scare into my group, almost grabbing and taking away a member of our expedition. Fortunately the skipper turned the boat just in time to avoid the young lads untimely demise.

We cast out large steaks and layed a scent line which brought the big guy in close. I felt the "tap tap" and then it was "FISH ON!" A monumental battle, but ultimately the beast was no match for my fishing skills. The only down side is I had to buy another three freezers to store all those fresh shark steaks, yum!

all humans were released unharmed in the filing of this report. The punch line is it was upper 60s cloudy, windy and cool at Venice Beach yesterday. Welcome back to comfortable Washington!

"You yell baracuda and everybody says 'Huh, what?' You yell shark and we've got a panic on our hands on the Fourth of July."

I think you're going to need a bigger boat.
