Not really a "secret" lake, I was at the larger of the two ponds (Shadow ?) at the Thomas Eddy public access site off the Snohomish river. I'd heard there were some bass in there, so I took my float tube down to give it a shot. Only stayed about 1-1/2 hrs, caught/released a half dozen small bass and one very small perch. Didn't know what to expect, so I took a sink tip line and fished buggers along the weeds. VERY weedy lake, should have taken a floating line and some poppers and some dry flies instead. I'd definitely give it a shot again with different gear. Saw a couple of large groups (100's) of fry, lots of bug life, so my guess is that there is a decent population of fish in there. A fun morning.

Joekacker, No, the other side of the river @ the Bob Herman (?) access site. Just follow the trail as if you were heading to the river, but at the bottome of the hill, you will see a trail that heads off the north to the larger of the two lakes. There is actually a smaller pond to the right (south) side of the trail as well, but I didn't try it.
